Community Radio Licence Awarded to Vixen87

The Management and Committee of Vixen87 are pleased to announce that we have been successful with our application for a Community Radio Licence. This licence will allow Vixen87 to broadcast for a five-year period.

We expect the new station to commence broadcasting in early to mid 2009, after all new engineering work has been completed and funding secured.

The initial service will be live weekend radio, with a weekday rolling music, local information and live hourly news.

We would like to thank all our valued listeners, sponsors and advertisers for your support over the last 9 RSL broadcasts.
